Job summary

Anderson Clark in Hertford is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer for an office-based role. You’ll manage a full AP process across international entities, handle multi-currency payments, supplier reconciliations, and support month-end activities.

Based in the Hertford office with free parking, you’ll work with procurement, finance and operations, train junior staff, and provide clear communication with senior stakeholders. This UK-based role requires no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Around 4 years’ accounts payable experience.
• Solid multi currency experience.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to talk to senior people.
• Navision or similar ERP experience; Excel skills help.
• Based in Hertford office; role is not remote.

Responsibilities

• Running the full AP process across international entities from invoices to payments.
• Multi currency payments (lots of them).
• Supplier reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Supporting month end and audits.
• Liaising with senior stakeholders across procurement, finance and operations.
• Spotting ways to improve processes and being heard.
• Helping train junior team members.
