Job summary

Anderson Clark in Hertford is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer for an office-based role. You’ll manage a full AP process across international entities, handle multi-currency payments, supplier reconciliations, and support month-end activities.

Based in the Hertford office with free parking, you’ll work with procurement, finance and operations, train junior staff, and provide clear communication with senior stakeholders. This UK-based role requires no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Around 4 years’ accounts payable experience.
• Solid multi currency experience.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to talk to senior people.
• Navision or similar ERP experience; Excel skills help.
• Based in Hertford office; role is not remote.

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading global managed services company, and they’re growing at a rate of knots. Their finance team is busy, deadline driven and full of people who know their stuff, and they’re looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to look after the non UK side of the business. You will be based in the Hertford office, this is not a remote role.

What you’ll be getting stuck into:

Running the full AP process across several international Group entities, from invoices and approvals through to payments

Multi currency payments (lots of them)

Supplier reconciliations and sorting out any discrepancies

Supporting month end and audits

Liaising with senior stakeholders across procurement, finance and operations

Spotting ways to do things better, and actually being listened to

Helping guide and train the more junior members of the team

Requirements

What you’ll need:

Around 4 years’ accounts payable experience
