Job summary

IFS is seeking a Lead / Principal Engineer to craft a new planning and simulation product from scratch. This is a hands-on frontend leadership role with opportunities to contribute across the stack, including backend services in Go and other languages.

You will design AI-first UI patterns, ensure scalable, secure interfaces, and collaborate closely with product, UX, and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, enterprise SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Angular experience at senior/lead level.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS UI with AI-first patterns.
• Backend experience in Go, Python, Java or .NET/C# is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build the frontend for a new planning and simulation product with strong architecture.
• Design AI-first UI patterns surface automated status updates and proactive suggestions.
• Collaborate with backend, UX, and product as requirements evolve.
• Handle large, data-heavy views (scheduling, capacity, simulation output) with performance focus.
• Deliver end-to-end features from UI through APIs to data and deployment.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture (containers, CI/CD, observability).
• Provide technical leadership: architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring, standards.
