Job summary

IFS is seeking a Lead / Principal Engineer to build a new AI-first planning and simulation product. This role is hands-on, frontend-focused with scope across backend where needed. You will shape architecture and deliver scalable UI for data-heavy workflows.

Candidates must have current, hands-on Angular experience at a senior/lead level and a track record in enterprise SaaS. You will mentor peers, drive performance, security, and maintainability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Current, hands-on Angular experience at a senior/lead level.
• Experience building AI-native user experiences in enterprise SaaS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build the frontend for a new planning and simulation product with a focus on architecture and delivery.
• Design AI-first UI patterns that surface automated status updates and proactive suggestions.
• Collaborate with backend, UX and product as requirements evolve.
• Handle large, data-heavy views with performance in mind.
• Deliver end-to-end features from UI through APIs and deployment; contribute to backend services in Go when needed.
• Build and maintain enterprise integrations and identity services.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture (containers, CI/CD, observability).
• Work within and extend platform frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership: architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and standards.
• Ensure quality, performance, security, and maintainability across the stack.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and cross-functional teams.
