Job summary

Yoto is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own and evolve the Android app experience used by millions of families. You will ship new features, improve performance, and collaborate with product, design, and iOS teams to deliver delightful experiences across devices.

You'll work with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture, mentor peers, set standards, and take ownership from design through delivery while embracing automation and AI-enhanced tooling to boost quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Several years building Android apps with Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new high-quality features for the native Android app following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and improve to maintain a scalable codebase.
• Work with the iOS team to develop features together.
• Contribute ideas and engage in architecture and tooling discussions.
• Use automation and AI-augmented tooling to work efficiently.
