Job summary

Admiral Group's Veygo unit is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own features end-to-end, delivering fast, reliable mobile experiences built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You’ll influence technical direction and work with Product, Design, Backend and QA to shape the Android roadmap and APIs.

You’ll mentor engineers, conduct thorough reviews, and adopt AI-assisted tooling while maintaining high quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven Android engineer with senior level experience in consumer apps.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience delivering scalable Android applications and APIs.
• CI/CD proficiency and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern tooling.
• Excellent debugging and problem solving with clean coding habits.
• Effective communication across Product, Design, Backend and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of complex Android features end-to-end.
• Build high quality mobile experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend and QA from discovery to delivery.
• Make technical decisions balancing performance and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers, perform thorough code reviews and improve tooling.
• Adopt AI-assisted tools to improve delivery while maintaining standards.
