Job summary

Wise is hiring an Android Engineer to join the Design Systems team to author foundations, building blocks, and tooling used by Wise products and landing pages. You will collaborate with mobile engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, accessible experiences across Wise.

You will contribute reusable components with Compose, manage design tokens, and build robust APIs for easy integration while focusing on performance and delightful user experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building reusable UI components with Compose.
• Strong understanding of theming and design tokens.
• Ability to build clean, flexible APIs for integration.
• Experience with accessibility and inclusive design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in or lead the full lifecycle of a feature from discovery to release.
• Troubleshoot and support other product teams with the Design System.
• Represent Design Systems initiatives to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver experiences for internal and external consumers.
• Help onboarding of new Wise engineers on the Design System and tooling.
