Immersive Labs in the UK is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Bristol-based engineering team. You’ll collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and Software Engineers to build and refine analytical data models in our data warehouse and deliver valuable insights to customers.

You’ll apply strong SQL skills, dbt, and BI tooling like Power BI or Looker, maintain data quality and lineage, and mentor junior engineers while following best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative

Formación

• Transforming, testing, and documenting data while maintaining robust data lineage.
• Data modelling, data access, and data storage techniques.
• Experience with version control and continuous integration.
• Strong SQL skills in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake) and performance tuning.
• Able to operate autonomously across multiple teams in ambiguity.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation layer.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain high quality datasets for engineers to build robust customer facing reporting.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to assess and mitigate the impact of upstream product changes.
• Apply domain knowledge to develop semantic layers for business intelligence.
• Mentor junior engineers and, teaching them the SDLC process and engineering best practices.
