Job summary

Immersive is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer for the UK, with remote work options. You will join an established engineering team to build and optimize the Immersive One data platform, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Software Engineers to deliver valuable insights.

You will shape data models, maintain data quality, and contribute to semantic layers for BI, while mentoring juniors and driving best practices across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Proficient in transforming, testing, and documenting data with a robust data lineage.
• Knowledgeable in data modelling, data access, and data storage techniques.
• Experience with version control and continuous integration practices.
• Strong SQL skills in cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) with performance optimization and window functions.
• Able to operate autonomously across multiple teams in ambiguous situations.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-quality datasets for engineers to create robust customer-facing reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers to assess and mitigate impact of upstream product changes.
• Apply domain knowledge to develop semantic layers for business intelligence.
• Mentor junior engineers and teach SDLC best practices.
