Job summary

Immersive Labs is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our UK Engineering team. You will develop, maintain and refine analytical data models within our data warehouse, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers to deliver valuable insights for customers.

You will lead data quality, observability and model optimization initiatives while working in a cross-functional agile environment and contributing to innovative solutions during Hack Weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience building data models and semantic layers for BI
• Strong SQL and data warehouse tuning skills
• Familiarity with data quality, lineage and observability practices
• Knowledge of version control and CI/CD for data pipelines
• Experience with dbt for data transformations
• Experience with Power BI or Looker for dashboards
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high quality datasets for engineers to enable robust reporting
• Collaborate with engineers to assess impact of upstream product changes
• Develop semantic layers for business intelligence
• Mentor junior engineers on SDLC and best practices
