Job summary

Relay Technologies is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Last Mile squad in the UK. The role focuses on designing core data models, powering AI workflows, and ensuring data quality across analytics initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineers and business leaders to deliver scalable data solutions that enable real-time decision-making in a rapidly growing network. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in analytics/data engineering, strong SQL (BigQuery/PostgreSQL), dbt experience,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics/data engineering roles.
• Strong SQL skills with BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
• Proven dbt experience and scalable DAGs.
• Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design core data models for analytics and AI workflows.
• Own inputs powering AI systems in Last Mile.
• Ensure data quality with testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate across the business to meet data needs.
• Define analytics engineering processes as we scale.
