Senior Analytics Engineer — Build Scalable Data Products

Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join our data platform and empower data scientists and business users with clean, well-documented data sets via Snowflake and Looker.

You'll model source data with product engineering, maintain SQL transformations, and help surface intuitive datasets in Looker for ~1500 active users, while optimising Looker as a data product across the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years Analytics Engineering / Data Engineering / BI Engineering experience
• Understanding of data warehousing, data modelling concepts and structuring new data tables
• Knowledge of cloud-based MPP data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

Responsibilities

• Model source data to meet downstream requirements with product engineering teams
• Maintain and develop SQL data transformation scripts and advise on data modelling for denormalised/aggregated outputs
• Surface clean, intuitive datasets in Looker for business users
• Lead optimisation and adoption of Looker as a data product for ~1500 active users
