Job summary

TravelPerk is seeking a skilled Analytics Engineer/Data Engineer to transform raw data into high-quality datasets and Looker visualisations. You will design ELT pipelines, model data and implement CI/CD practices, collaborating with analysts to support reporting needs.

You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, focus on Snowflake/Looker, dbt and SQL, and be based near London or Barcelona hubs with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office days. English resumes preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data-focused role (Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, BI Developer).
• Expert-level SQL and data transformation tooling (dbt or similar).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift).
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT and dimensional modelling.
• Version control with Git and familiarity with Looker.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ELT pipelines transforming raw data into clean data models in the data warehouse.
• Apply best-practice data modelling and CI/CD to ensure performance and reliability.
• Create data quality checks, tests, and monitoring for transformed assets.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and business users to optimize models for reporting.
• Tune SQL and data models to reduce latency for Looker dashboards.
• Promote adoption of modern data stack tools and practices.
