Job summary

Accord Healthcare is seeking an Analytical Support Senior Analyst for its Barnstaple site in Devon. The role focuses on method development, validation, technology transfer and investigations to ensure high-quality products.

You will work within the Analytical Support Team, contributing to GMP-compliant testing, assay development and the introduction of new analytics technologies. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in analytical testing using HPLC, GC, UV/Vis and related techniques.
• Strong knowledge of ICH method development and validation requirements.
• Experience using Empower CDS or similar chromatography data systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical laboratory testing.
• Lead and support laboratory investigations including drug substance/product investigations.
• Develop, optimise and validate analytical methods per ICH guidelines.
• Write and review method validation protocols and reports.
• Support technology transfer projects and line extensions.
• Provide analytical support for cleaning and process validation, trials and stability studies.
• Assess and introduce new analytical technologies to improve quality and efficiency.
• Train and mentor laboratory personnel in techniques and procedures.
