Job summary

Accord Healthcare Europe seeks an experienced QC Analytical Support Senior Team Leader to head the analytical support function at our Barnstaple site. You will provide scientific, technical and regulatory expertise across QC and related operations, driving analytical excellence and lifecycle management of analytical methods.

Qualifications

• Significant GMP pharmaceutical QA/QC laboratory experience.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical analytical testing using multiple techniques.
• Proven leadership in managing analytical teams and projects.
• Strong understanding of ICH guidelines and pharmacopoeial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the QC Analytical Support team.
• Establish departmental objectives aligned with site priorities.
• Manage performance through regular one-to-one meetings and development plans.
• Foster accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement within the team.
• Ensure resource planning meets business requirements.
• Provide leadership in method development, validation and troubleshooting.
• Oversee investigations into OOS/OOT deviations and CAPAs.
• Manage method lifecycle activities from development to routine use.
• Coordinate implementation of new pharmacopoeial requirements.
• Support regulatory submissions and inspections.
