Job summary

Scope Ratings seeks motivated analysts to join the Monitoring & Methodology team. Senior Analyst role targets 3–5 years in structured finance, offering exposure to surveillance, methodologies and modelling across asset classes.

You will develop tools, support rating analyses, and contribute to data-driven credit opinions while mentoring junior staff, with a clear path for advancement within Scope Ratings in London.

Responsibilities

• Assess performance of structured finance transactions and articulate credit opinions.
• Serve as a voting member in rating committees
• Contribute to updates of structured finance methodologies
• Develop and maintain internal analytical tools and automation scripts
• Prepare data extracts, dashboards, and presentations for monitoring and reporting
• Engage with issuers, arrangers, originators and investors during rating analyses
• Produce high-quality, insightful research and sector-level commentary
• Mentor junior analyst and support technical/analytical training within the team
