• Own query remediation, trade life-cycling, and other day-to-day processing, ensuring timely escalation to minimize risk.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Partner with Technology to deliver transformation. Collaborate with Financial Markets teams to identify booking model improvements and enhance efficiency.
• Act as the face of Operations to Sales and Trading Desks locally – primary point of contact:
  • Insulate FM from post-execution processing/queries, represent Operations functions,
  • Build team profile with the Front Office,
  • Engage stakeholders with a two-way flow of information – “Trusted Advisor”.
• Enable new business and deliver solutions by partnering on strategic FM initiatives.
• Consistently seek opportunities to improve global consistency, working closely with Hubs (GBS) and other regions to close gaps and standardize processes.
• Communicate with clients to resolve immediate transaction issues and understand their long-term needs to inform business decisions in Operations.
• Build strong relationships with Hub teams (Fixed Income & OTC Derivatives Ops) to facilitate efficient communication and quick resolution of issues. Identify and address knowledge gaps within Hubs through hands-on training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and future-proof the Middle Office model by understanding current rules and anticipating upcoming regulations.
• Support all products in Commodities Middle Office, including Physical trades.

Skills and Experience

• Experience with Derivatives and Commodities.
• Working knowledge of Derivative products, Options, ETD & OTC trade lifecycle, specifically for Commodities, and exposure to Physical Commodity operations.
• Ability to drive continuous process improvements.
• Ability to engage with clients to resolve daily transaction issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience building relationships across teams.
• Experience working in global teams, identifying opportunities for consistency improvements across regions.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and SLAs to meet operational targets.
