Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a high-growth technology business to recruit a Senior Analyst, External Reporting in Belfast on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working with two days in the Belfast office and exposure to US GAAP, SEC reporting and technical accounting.

The successful candidate will work within a US-headquartered company, supporting Accounting, External Reporting, Tax and Audit, and collaborate across Finance and Investor Relations teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).
• Big 4 experience desirable.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare stock-based compensation analysis under US GAAP.
• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Pull together schedules for financial statements, earnings releases and investor materials.
• Get involved in technical accounting and reporting projects.
• Work with teams across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Investor Relations.
• Help improve reporting processes and automation.

The Belfast Finance team is part of a wider global function, supporting areas including Accounting, Revenue, External Reporting, Tax and Audit. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing public company and gain strong exposure to US GAAP, SEC reporting and technical accounting.
