MCS Group is partnering with a global financial services provider to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant in Belfast. This role sits within a dynamic finance team delivering high-quality financial reporting and client-focused service.

You will lead the preparation of management accounts and investor reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior colleagues within a hybrid work setting designed to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong accounting and technical knowledge.
• Excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of management accounts, financial statements and investor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies across your portfolio.
• Oversee key fund accounting activities whilst supporting the development of processes, controls and maintain high service standards.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, auditors and advisers for accounting and reporting matters.
• Mentor and support junior team members, including contributing to a high performing team culture.

The Rewards

• Up to £52k base salary + extensive benefits;

The Role

Working as a senior member of the team, as the successful Senior Fund Accountant you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.
