Job summary

IO Associates is seeking an Associate Director – Airport Planning in a hybrid role based in Epsom/London. You will lead airport masterplanning, capacity modelling and surface/airside/landside planning while managing senior client relationships.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, contribute to business development and bid leadership, and shape major UK and international aviation projects across the Heathrow/airports network and beyond.

Qualifications

Senior-level airport planning/masterplanning experience.
Experience with capacity assessment/modelling for airports.
Understanding of airside, terminal and landside environments.
Proven track record in client and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead airport masterplanning and development initiatives.
Oversee capacity modelling, demand forecasting and scenario analysis.
Engage senior clients/stakeholders and steer complex commissions.
Drive bids, tenders and business development activities.
