Job summary

Placements24 in London is seeking an innovative Aircraft Systems Engineer to join a premier aerospace technology firm. You will lead design, development, integration, and testing of electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and environmental control systems for aircraft.

Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, safety, and reliability, and to meet aviation standards and regulations. Strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in aircraft systems design, development, or integration.
• Familiarity with system engineering principles, V&V, and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate various aircraft systems (electrical, hydraulic, fuel, environmental).
• Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to predict performance.
• Develop system requirements, specifications, and test plans.
• Conduct system testing and validation in lab and on aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, flight test, and customer support teams.
• Ensure designs comply with aviation standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for system design.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
