Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Inspector specializing in Quality Assurance for its Randburg, Gauteng facility. You will conduct thorough inspections, verify documentation, and ensure airworthiness in line with SACAA, FAA, and EASA standards.

The role requires an AMT license or engineering degree, 7+ years in aircraft maintenance with 3+ years in QA, and the ability to review records, calibrate tools, and participate in audits to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• AMT license or engineering degree required.
• Minimum 7 years in aircraft maintenance with 3+ years in QA/inspection.
• Strong knowledge of SACAA, EASA, FAA regulations and quality management systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of aircraft, components, and completed maintenance to ensure compliance.
• Review maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to technical data, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies, non-conformances, or safety hazards.
• Participate in internal/external audits.
• Provide guidance to maintenance personnel on quality and compliance.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
• Stay updated on aviation regulations and airworthiness directives.
