Randburg Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Senior Airworthiness Engineer to join the compliance and safety team in Randburg, Gauteng. You will develop airworthiness policies, manage compliance programs and liaise with aviation authorities to ensure fleet safety.

The role requires 7+ years in airworthiness or related areas, deep regulatory knowledge (SACAA CARs) and strong leadership capabilities for a critical function within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in aircraft maintenance, engineering or airworthiness roles.
• Deep knowledge of aviation regulations and airworthiness standards (SACAA CARs).
• Experience managing an Airworthiness Management System.
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes, structures, systems and powerplants.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain AMS policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with SACAA, EASA, FAA regulations and ADs.
• Oversee certification and continued airworthiness of the fleet.
• Review maintenance records, modifications and repair data for compliance.
• Liaise with authorities, oversight bodies and certification agencies.
• Conduct internal audits of maintenance operations for airworthiness.
• Provide guidance on airworthiness requirements to engineering and ops teams.
• Manage the technical data system and keep documentation up to date.
• Investigate and report airworthiness incidents or non-compliance.
