Qualifications
- Recognized technical qualification in Aircraft Structures, Sheet Metal work, or related trade.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Aircraft Structures Technician.
- Experience repairing and fabricating aircraft structures with various materials.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft structural drawings and manuals.
- Knowledge of riviting, sheet metal fabrication and composite repair techniques.
Responsibilities
- Inspect aircraft structures for damage, corrosion and fatigue.
- Repair and replace damaged structural components per data and specs.
- Fabricate and fit new parts for structural repairs.
- Work with aluminum, composites and steel materials.
- Interpret engineering drawings and repair schemes.
- Ensure repairs meet airworthiness standards and are documented.
