Job summary

Qatar Airways is looking for a qualified engineer based at London Heathrow to conduct aircraft maintenance tasks and manage maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will hold EASA licenses and have at least five years of experience in technical maintenance for a large airline.

The engineer will ensure compliance with safety standards, manage shift transitions effectively, and provide support during AOG situations. Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure environments are required. A right to work in the United States is also necessary.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer capable of holding authorisation on foreign carrier’s aircraft types.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in technical maintenance for a large airline.
• Able to prioritise sequential completion of tasks and processes.

Responsibilities

• Achieves expected quality and productivity for each maintenance task.
• Plans assigned activities effectively and ensures proper usage of equipment.
• Monitors Health, Safety and Environment requirements at all times.
• Manages shift handover and informs incoming shifts of operational requirements.
