Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited is recruiting a B1 Licensed Engineer for a permanent position with a leading aviation organisation. You will join a skilled maintenance team supporting specialist aircraft operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and timely aircraft release.

The role covers hands-on maintenance, AOG support across the UK and overseas, staff development, and ensuring documentation accuracy in line with MOE and Part-145 standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Experience in maintaining safety culture and compliant operations.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and make sound technical decisions.
• Eligible and willing to obtain security clearance for UK/ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shift Supervisor to ensure regulatory compliance and safe maintenance.
• Support engineering team with technical decisions and staff development.
• Perform and certify B1 maintenance activities as allocated.
• Issue C Certifications for aircraft released from base maintenance.
• Maintain documentation accurately and on time.
• Lead and supervise technical staff to ensure adherence to procedures.
