Job summary

Chevron Technical Services in Prestwick seeks a Check Manager to lead day-to-day aircraft maintenance input, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and strict adherence to regulatory standards. You will be the primary customer liaison, guaranteeing expectations are met and safety requirements are observed.

Role requires UKCAA Part 66 B1/B2 and C licences on at least two aircraft, plus at least five years in P145 base maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years management experience within P145 base maintenance
• UKCAA Part 66 Licence (B1/B2) and C Licence on at least 2 aircraft types
• Hands-on experience certifying Aircraft with an EASA Part 66 licence and appropriate authorisation
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for Part 145

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of aircraft within budget and standards
• Issue CRS following base maintenance input
• Manage customer work packs and documentation per regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Planning Engineer and Purchasing
• Identify risks and mitigate delays to minimize disruption
• Maintain high standards of documentation and handovers
• Lead investigations into maintenance incidents and recommend corrective actions
