Job summary

2Excel Engineering Ltd in Lasham, Hampshire, seeks an experienced Check Manager to plan, schedule and execute maintenance activities in a Part-145 environment. The successful candidate will manage inputs, assess work scopes, and coordinate resources to meet TATs and budgets.

Applicants should hold UK Part 66 B1/B2 with Cat C rating; Airbus A320 type rating preferred. Strong leadership and stakeholder management required; on-site, full-time role with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Part 66 Licence B1/B2 and Cat C rating.
• Airbus A320 CEO/NEO type rating and recency desirable.
• Experience in a Part-145 environment is required.
• Strong planning, scheduling and project management skills.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute maintenance activities to ensure regulatory & operational compliance.
• Understand GTAs and Aircraft Maintenance Contracts for allocated inputs.
• Identify manpower, facility, tooling and spares requirements in advance.
• Assess Work Scopes, Work Orders and Customer Requests to articulate viability and resources.
• Inform commercial negotiations on effects of work-pack changes on TATs and budgets.
• Develop Aircraft Project Plan to deliver tasks on time and on budget.
• Support cultural and procedural changes within the business.
