Job summary

83zero Ltd in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to develop air and fuel system components for diesel engines. The role is fully onsite and part of a global engineering team, focusing on next-generation products.

You will use Creo CAD and Teamcenter PLM to create and manage designs, lead design reviews, support FMEA/APQP and DVP&R activities, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing air and/or fuel systems for engines.
• Proven Creo CAD experience.
• Experience with Teamcenter and engine development.
• Engineering degree is desirable; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop air and fuel system components for diesel engines.
• Produce and manage designs using Creo CAD and Teamcenter PLM.
• Lead or support design reviews with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Support FMEA, APQP and DVP&R activities.
• Investigate technical issues and develop robust engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teams.
