Job summary

Smart Search Technical Ltd in London is seeking an experienced air conditioning engineer to service, maintain and repair systems across sites. The role requires attending breakdowns, planned maintenance and fault finding with a high standard of workmanship.

You will work 40 hours per week, with a rota including travel and occasional overnight stays, a company van provided, and a benefits package including pension and leave. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in air conditioning service and maintenance.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• F-Gas 2079 Category 1.
• CSCS ACRIB card preferred.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Good communication skills and professional approach.

Job description

Location: London, with UK travel and occasional overnight stays

Salary: Up to £43,000 DOE

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Call-Out: 1 in 10 weeks

Travel: Door-to-door paid at single rate

Overtime: Weekdays 1.25x, Saturdays 1.5x, Sundays and nightwork 2x

The Role

The role will mainly involve attending breakdowns and callouts, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and resolving faults on air conditioning systems.
