Job summary

OXFIDA is seeking a senior software engineer to join a small, technically strong delivery team. You will help take AI Risk Governance and Pricing Engine products from pilot to production, contributing across the stack and collaborating with ML engineers and product managers.

The role is hands-on, with opportunities to mentor, learn, and deliver in a remote-first, agile environment. Hybrid or remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Degree or equivalent in CS, Math, Engineering or related STEM field.
• Fluency with Python, TypeScript, or both; strong software fundamentals.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment (AWS).
• Familiarity with relational databases and APIs; strong DevOps skills (CI/CD, version control).
• Ability to review code, mentor peers, and work in a remote-first, iterative agile environment.
• Experience across full lifecycle from prototyping to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, testing, and maintenance of OXFIDA projects and products.
• Build robust software and infrastructure using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and cloud tools.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and partners to understand requirements and priorities.
• Support code reviews, pair programming, and engineering best practices across the team.
• Troubleshoot issues across software, data, and integrations during development and deployment.
• Drive improvements to tooling, standards, and deployment practices.
