Job summary

Darktrace in Cambridge is seeking a Security Researcher focused on AI systems to shape agentic workflows within our product ecosystem. This hybrid role requires two days a week in the Cambridge office and offers a path to prototype novel AI-enabled security capabilities.

You will collaborate with product, engineering and ML specialists to translate ideas into prototypes while staying at the forefront of AI and cybersecurity developments.

Qualifications

• Experience with core Darktrace technologies such as Network, Email, Cloud and Endpoint.
• Interest or foundational knowledge in developing agentic workflows.
• Ability to reason logically in unfamiliar situations and solve problems.
• Clear communication of technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research at the intersection of security and generative AI to shape agentic workflows within Darktrace products.
• Prototype and experiment with agentic systems to deliver customer value.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and ML teams to move ideas from concept to prototype.
• Maintain and extend expertise through ongoing research projects.
