Darktrace is seeking a Security Researcher focusing on AI systems to explore, prototype, and integrate agentic workflows within the Darktrace product ecosystem. Job Description:

This is a hybrid role, with a compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

What will I be doing:

In this role, you'll be working at the intersection of security engineering and cutting-edge generative AI. As a Security Researcher focused on AI systems, you'll play a key part in shaping how agentic workflows are explored, prototyped, and ultimately brought to life within the Darktrace product ecosystem. This is an open-ended and research-driven position, giving you the opportunity to experiment, innovate, and influence how AI capabilities translate into real-world customer value.

What experience do i need:

We're looking for someone who combines practical experience with a curiosity for emerging AI capabilities and how they intersect with cyber security. You should be comfortable working in dynamic, fast-evolving environments where you can apply logical thinking to unfamiliar problems and contribute to shaping new approaches. Experience with the Darktrace product suite will be particularly valuable, alongside an interest in how agentic workflows can be designed and applied to enhance both security outcomes and customer value.

You’ll also need to be an effective communicator, able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, while maintaining a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
