Clariness GmbH is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to build and operate security across applications, cloud infrastructure and AI systems. As the founding-level security hire, you will establish the security engineering function, define priorities and work directly with engineering teams to embed effective security controls throughout our technology environment.

You will own AI security governance for LLM-powered features, RAG systems and agentic pipelines, and drive threat modelling,

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on experience in security engineering, application security or information security.
• Experience building or growing a security programme within a product engineering environment.
• Proven ability to work with engineering teams on secure system design, threat modelling and secure CI/CD.

Responsabilités

• Define security engineering strategy and roadmap across applications, cloud, AI and LLM security.
• Build and operate the security function and governance, including risk assessment and remediation.
• Lead security tooling, vulnerability management, and audit-ready documentation for external auditors.
