Job summary

Moonfire is recruiting a Senior AI Prompt Engineer to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions across automation software development and business workflows. The role requires hands-on expertise with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Claude, plus proven automation code development and PowerShell scripting.

You will define robust prompt strategies while delivering secure production-ready AI-enabled engineering solutions, and provide technical leadership and mentoring as needed.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in AI prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code.
• Strong software engineering and automation background.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and integrations.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and maintain advanced prompts for Copilot and Claude-based systems.
• Develop and maintain AI-driven automation pipelines and tooling.
• Integrate prompts and AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and enterprise platforms.
• Write secure, scalable, and high-quality code across stacks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring where required.
• Evaluate AI output quality, performance, security, and cost.
