Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior AI/ML Computational Scientist to design, build, and operationalize enterprise AI/ML solutions, blending custom models with cloud services to deliver production-ready outcomes.

You will lead across the full lifecycle: assess client needs, select models (DL, GenAI, LLMs), design scalable pipelines for training and production, and ensure quality and value of deployed systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist, deploying models in production at scale.
• Extensive experience in applying theoretical foundations of computer science, including system architecture and programming.
• Experience with distributed computing, big data, HPC, engineering simulations, and cloud environments.
• Established experience in building and deploying AI/ML software to a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Develop and implement ML algorithms, models, and data pipelines for training and production with DevOps & MLOps.
• Customize deep learning and Gen AI models for business needs across workloads.
• Engage in R&D of AI and HPC algorithms, models, and simulations for client applications.
• Work with large-scale datasets and data preprocessing to ensure high-quality inputs.
• Implement and maintain data storage and retrieval for models and knowledge.
• Justify the value of model approaches in business terms.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deploy into production.
