Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a Data Engineer with AI knowledge to deploy ML models, build data pipelines and orchestrate data flows for client projects across the UK. The role requires adapting to batch and streaming data, ensuring robust data architectures and strong collaboration within an agile team.

You will work on data modelling, lake and warehouse patterns, and monitor model performance in production while advancing capabilities in generative AI and scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python-based data engineering and ML workflows.
• Extensive cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) across data pipelines.
• Experience with data warehousing, lake architectures, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and distributed computing (Spark).
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Terraform or CloudFormation, and container tech.

Responsibilities

• Deploy machine learning models to production and monitor performance.
• Build and orchestrate ETL pipelines and data flows.
• Design data mappings and scalable data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality and resolve data issues.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team and contribute to sprint rituals.
• Stay updated on generative AI developments.
