Job summary

Google DeepMind seeks a senior leader to guide the development and deployment of novel generative AI applications, translating research into real-world products. You will build and ship software, lead engineering teams, and collaborate with researchers and product managers across partners to maximize impact for Google and customers.

Focused on rapid feature development in early-stage environments, you will scale from concept to production, driving product strategy and ensuring safety and ethics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years software development experience with system design, data structures and algorithms.
• 7 years leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure.
• 5 years in a technical leadership role with people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable generative AI applications design, development, and deployment.
• Lead rapid feature development and mentor team to a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Collaborate with researchers and product managers to translate research into tangible product features.
• Oversee optimization of software performance and reliability of deployed applications.
• Lead architecture and development of new products from 0 to 1.
