Kharon is seeking a Senior AI Engineer, Retrieval & Agentic Systems, based in London. You will own and advance content discovery, redesign hybrid search capabilities, and build agentic experiences across large intelligence datasets. Collaborate with Product, DS, and Engineering while driving end-to-end solutions.

We value hands-on Python production work, curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving ambiguous problems, with experience in LLM-powered applications and RAG pipelines.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, ML Engineering, or related software engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience in information retrieval: lexical search, embeddings, vector search, hybrid retrieval, ranking, retraining/evaluation.
• Proven experience building LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows.
• Strong Python skills and production-grade software engineering ability.

Aufgaben

• Own and advance content discovery in Corestream, improving how customers find, explore, and engage with relevant risk intelligence.
• Redesigning and improving hybrid search capabilities using BM25 tuning, semantic distance, RAG, reranking, and graph-based signals.
• Explore and build discovery experiences including agentic search, intelligent content categorization, personalized feeds, and surface connections across large intelligence datasets.
• Drive the evolution of the narrative generation pipeline, transforming graph and analytical data into accurate written intelligence for customers.
• Own problems end-to-end from identification to prototyping, deployment, and production improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to influence priorities and architectural decisions while maintaining strong hands-on contribution.
• Bonus: Experience with graph-aware search or integrating knowledge graph outputs into retrieval systems.
