Job summary

Sun Chemical in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead production-grade AI initiatives across the .NET stack and Azure AI services. You will translate business needs into scalable AI-powered software and guide cross-functional teams.

You will drive adoption of LLMs, RAG, semantic search, and AI orchestration, mentor engineers, and help build a center of excellence for responsible AI across Aura solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, testing, and delivering production-grade software and AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in LLMs, applied AI, prompt engineering, RAG, semantic search, AI orchestration, and agent-based systems.
• Ability to evaluate and select the right approach between AI, ML, automation, or traditional software development.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of owning initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions using .NET, LLMs, agentic AI, ML, and workflow automation.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, production-ready applications.
• Act as AI subject matter expert, advising on AI usage and best practices.
• Drive adoption of LLMs, RAG, semantic search, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Define reusable architectures and engineering standards for AI development across products.
