Job summary

Client Server in London is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to own AI initiatives and drive capability across the firm. You will be hands-on with Python and TypeScript, delivering AI applications and agentic workflows end-to-end, from discovery to production support.

You will collaborate with the CTO and senior tech leadership, shaping technical strategy while mentoring colleagues and promoting responsible AI adoption in a hedge fund environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in applied AI with data science or related field.
• Senior software engineer with strong Python and TypeScript.
• Finance/ Hedge Fund environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CTO and leadership to drive AI adoption.
• Build and deploy AI applications and agentic workflows.
• Identify opportunities, prototype, develop, deploy and provide post-production support.
• Work with Compliance and Information Security on data governance.
