Job summary

Arm’s Software (CE-SW) group seeks a Senior Engineer to join a small AI-focused team in Manchester or Cambridge. You will work hands-on with engineering teams to apply AI to software workflows and deliver production-quality prototypes that improve engineering effectiveness.

You will design, build, test and maintain AI tooling, review peers' work and communicate progress with clear documentation, while upholding security and responsible-AI standards.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills including CI concepts.
• Experience applying generative AI to software development workflows.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities for non-standard solutions.
• Experience reviewing technical work and giving clear feedback.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software teams to understand workflows and opportunities for AI.
• Design, build, test and maintain AI-enabled tools and prototypes for software engineering.
• Contribute data and analysis to AI enablement dashboards and communicate progress.
• Produce technical documentation and reusable examples for teams.
• Apply security, data protection and responsible-AI requirements in solutions.
