Job summary

Arm is seeking a Staff Hardware AI Engineer to advance AI-enabled automation for Hardware Design & Verification, bridging hardware engineering and AI tooling. You will work with Architects and Arm engineering teams to apply AI-powered tools at scale, improving cycle time and productivity.

Key activities include hands-on development, prototyping, and driving adoption through demos and onboarding guides. Hybrid working is available, with sponsorship considerations as noted in the recruitment

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with RTL design and verification methods.
Experience with at least one major EDA vendor toolset.
Practical experience using AI for engineering automation.
Strong analytical problem-solving and cross-team collaboration.
Excellent written communication to define requirements and actionable plans.

Responsibilities

Develop AI-based solutions for Hardware Design & Verification automation.
Curate/develop AI tooling integrations (simulation flows, log analysis, code review/refactor support).
Collaborate with Arm Engineering teams to capture real engineering struggles and turn them into clear requirements.
Build quick prototypes and evaluate EDA AI tools to validate feasibility and quantify impact.
Drive adoption as a change leader: run demos/workshops; contribute onboarding guides; remove blockers.
