Job summary

Arm is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for its Software (CE-SW) group to build and lead a small team of AI subject-matter experts. The role combines hands-on technical work with people leadership, partnering across CE-SW to drive measurable improvements in engineering effectiveness.

You will hire, develop, and embed AI experts within projects and sites, define priorities, and deliver outcome-driven capabilities.

Qualifications

Experience hiring, leading and developing a team of engineers or technical specialists.
Strong, current software engineering skills with hands-on prototyping and production-quality work.
Practical experience applying generative AI or AI-assisted tools to real software workflows.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority across org boundaries.
Excellent communication to engage and align specialist engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop and lead a small AI team delivering measurable outcomes.
Set team priorities and roadmap for CE-SW with delivery ownership.
Embed team members with software engineering groups to accelerate results.
Identify AI-enabled opportunities and implement pragmatic, measurable improvements.
