Job summary

WorkWave is seeking a product-minded AI engineer to turn customer needs into reliable in-product agents. The in-product assistant is live, and the work now focuses on quality, coverage, and an experience that wows.

This role is about ownership: turning expressed customer needs into an endpoint, tool, and user experience that measurably improves the customer's job. Agent engineering, deployment, and testing are part of delivery, not a handoff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software or data-intensive systems
• Strong Python skills and experience with at least one LLM/agent shipped to production
• Hands-on AWS experience, Bedrock and AgentCore preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the Outcome: start from the customer and ensure the agent meets their needs
• Build production agents and tools: retrieval, multi-step workflows, action-taking on Bedrock
• Turn serving layers into capability: endpoints and tools for agents
• Shape the experience: speed, confidence, explanation, and next steps
