Job summary
Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd in Newbridge, South Wales, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for an electronics manufacturer. You will take technical ownership, improve machine performance, reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Auto Insert experience is not essential, and SMT/PCB or broader electronics manufacturing backgrounds are highly regarded. You will coordinate technical staff and ensure alignment with KPI targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in electronics manufacturing environments.
- Backgrounds in SMT, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, or automated electronics production.
- Experience with electronics assembly equipment and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Control dept. technical budgets and spends.
- Research future technical developments that will promote business development.
- Develop and implement new systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Advise Technical Engineering on ongoing technical/system resolutions.
- Represent AI dept in technical meetings.
- Coordinate ordering of machine spares and maintain minimum stock on site.
- Monitor KPI performance and prepare information for monthly meetings.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental policies.
