Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Automated Manufacturing for our Newbridge operation. The role centers on ensuring machinery and technical capabilities meet production and customer requirements within the Auto Insert department.

You will drive performance, coordinate technical staff, monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement efforts. The position is a senior technical engineering role within electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering experience in automated manufacturing or production environments.
  • Mechatronics experience spanning mechanical, electrical/electronic and machine control systems.
  • Strong PC literacy and confidence with technical, machine and production systems.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving issues across automated machinery and production equipment.
  • Track record of improving machine performance, utilisation, quality and downtime.
  • Continuous improvement and process development experience.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with practical solutions.
  • Experience at Senior/Lead/Technical Engineer level within manufacturing.
  • Experience coordinating technical staff or engineering activity.
  • Auto Insert or electronics manufacturing experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Control technical budgets and expenditure.
  • Manage critical machine spares and minimum stock levels.
  • Research and support future technical developments.
  • Prepare for and contribute to technical and quality meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and company requirements.

SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - AUTOMATED MANUFACTURING

Newbridge | Permanent | Full Time | Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday 8:00am-1:00pm | Competitive Salary + Pension + Private Healthcare + DIS 6x Salary

Due to internal career progression, we are recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Automated Manufacturing, internally titled Senior Auto Insert (AI) Engineer, to join an established electronics manufacturing operation in Newbridge. The position sits within the Auto Insert department and is responsible for managing and coordinating its technical aspects, ensuring machinery and technical capabilities meet customer and production requirements.

The Role

This is a senior technical manufacturing position focused on ensuring machinery and technical capabilities meet production and customer requirements. The successful candidate will work across machine performance, quality, utilisation, technical problem-solving and continuous improvement, while coordinating technical activity within the department.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in engineers whose experience goes beyond traditional maintenance. You should be comfortable understanding how automated production equipment operates as a complete system, combining mechanical, electrical/electronic and controls knowledge with strong PC literacy and a focus on improving manufacturing performance.
