Job summary

commercetools is hiring in London for a role that owns AI capabilities end-to-end, from data and context feeding models to agent orchestration and the generative UI seen by users. You will ship and operate full-stack apps in production, spanning backend, frontend, data, and ML as a single team.

You will build agent loops, integration layers, and real data-grounded systems, delivering robust, guarded features with measurable improvements and strong observability.

Qualifications

• Shipped production software end-to-end (frontend to backend).
• Experience building with LLMs in production with real users.
• Hands-on with UI protocols and agent-driven UI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build agent loops and orchestration with tool use and structured outputs.
• Develop the MCP integration layer for secure backend and API calls.
• Ground models in real data and implement embeddings and feedback loops.
• Treat evaluations as a measurable system for improvement.
• Take ideas from notebook prototypes to guarded production features.
