Job summary

Provenir AI, part of the Provenir group, a global fintech company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and operationalise large-scale data solutions using REST APIs, Graph databases, AI and ML applications. The role is remote-first with base in the UK and involves hands-on development across Java and Spring Boot, AWS, and generative AI capabilities.

You\'ll lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, contribute to the product roadmap, and collaborate with cloud architects

Qualifications

• Extensive Java software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring AI.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on AWS and using related services.
• Experience leading features from inception to deployment and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable software.
• Engineer backend APIs, Graph, and AI-driven products.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for software development projects and teams.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to design backend services and APIs.
• Contribute to product roadmap including design and testing of POC products.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
