TalentCo is partnering with a Silicon Valley startup to hire Senior Backend Engineers in the UK. This fully remote role lets you build scalable backend systems powering real-time AI-driven workflows.

You will work with AI researchers, engineers and product teams to deploy enterprise-grade solutions, integrating LLMs, RAG, and automation while maintaining robust, minimal-dependency code in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ years building production-grade applications.
• Proficient with Node.js and TypeScript in scalable backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud architectures.
• Experience with LLMs, chat interfaces, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments.
• Collaborative in cross-functional teams with engineers, designers, researchers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications powering AI-driven workflows for enterprise users.
• Build scalable backend services supporting real-time AI interactions and automation.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and ML engineers to integrate LLMs and RAG into production apps.
• Ship robust, minimal-dependency code with enterprise-grade performance.
• Iterate AI-driven products balancing user needs and technical feasibility.
